On behalf of the Organising Committee, it is a pleasure for me to welcome you to the Digital Economy Forum 2.0, in our great city of Kuala Lumpur.
The theme that we have chosen for this year’s forum is The CEO-Suite, Disruptors & Innovators, which is designed to confront the ever changing landscape in the digital economy. Needless to say technologies have change the way we do business and how it disrupt our daily lives. The program features a range of inspiring keynote addresses from industry practitioner and legislators.
As we are heading towards an Internet Economy year, we hope such forum will provide a catalyst to the industry players to ponder upon their strategy to grow their business through the digital ecosystem. The forum will also give us an opportunity to discuss the future directions of the field, research, best practises, latest technologies and beyond.
We are thankful to the many speakers who are willingly spending their time in this forum to enlighten the participants. The Chamber is eternally grateful for your support. A special thank you to all our partners and sponsors who has also contributed immensely to the success of this event. Without your support, the forum won’t be a tremendous success today.
To the participants there will be plenty of opportunities to interact with other participants from the public and private sectors during the 1-day event. We also would like to congratulate the winners of the inaugural Malaysia Digital Business Awards and we hope this award will continue to spur your organisation to greater height and at the same time become an inspiration to others to emulate your organisation feet to scale further.
